Vin Diesel Pays A Touching Tribute To Late Friend And Co-Star Paul Walker

.Though it's been a little over two years since the tragic death of actor Paul Walker, yet the mourned Fast and The Furious star is still fresh on the minds of friends and fans. His final film for the franchise, Furious 7 continues to collect awards almost a year after its debut. After being nominated for"Favorite Movie" and "Favorite Action Movie" by the 42nd annual People's Choice Awards, Furious 7won both nominations with action movie star and good friend of Walker's, Vin Diesel accepting the awards.

Vin Diesel appeared to be visibly moved by the film's winnings and emotional despite the claim that he would try not to be as he made mention of Walker in the acceptance speech.

"You know, as I was coming up here, I always do this. I say I'm not going to get emotional about winning these awards, and I was cool when I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards. One for favorite action movie and one for favorite film. You all thought that this was yourfavorite film. I think of [characters] Dom and Brian and I start to think of Paul."

"We grew up in the business together, and we became famous together," said actor Vin Diesel of his late co-star in an interview with Daily Mail. "We represented the biggest franchise together. He was my partner."

Diesel fought back tears as he spoke of Walker, his demeanor as somber as his words were humble. Towards the end of his speech, he even sung a verse from popular hit and original Furious 7 soundtrack song "See You Again" (by rapper Wiz Khalifa ft. singer Charlie Puth).

Though Walker may have left the world far too soon, it's clear that his memory will continue to live on with his loyal fans and long-time friend, Vin Diesel..
