There was an act of outright brutality by the Nigerian police force against three FRSC officials at Imokun, Epe yesterday at exactly 9.10pm on Tuesday 1st December. The FRSC officers suffered an attack by street urchins around Imokun on their way home. The urchins stabbed one of them and stole cash and phones from the Federal officers and the FRSC officers managed to apprehend one of the gangsters and intimated their FRSC UC on the situation on ground.The UC then called the DPO and the DPO dispatched a squad to address the situation. On squad's arrival, they specifically faced the FRSC officials and held them responsible for the fracas. The FRSC official that was called to mediate was brutally beaten and dragged on the floor. I personally believe that the brutality was as a result of the animosity between the Nigerian police force and the FRSC. When will all these lawlessness on by the police stop?
